ICOM Next Repairs

The ethernet network port is a common failure on the BMW ICOM Next diagnostic interface and BMW do not offer a repair facility.  I offer this service for fellow BMW professionals and enthusiasts as I know the disruption a faulty ICOM causes to "business as usual".  We have noted that when the port begin to go faulty, they cause unpredictable/random behaviour.  We only use high quality, matching ethernet sockets which are soldered onto the board by a professional electronics technician.  Guaranteed for 12-months and tested before being returned to you by Royal Mail recorded delivery and insured up to the value of a new unit, we charge £109 for the repair including the return postage.

Please do not send your ICOM to us for repair without speaking to us or emailing us first for further instructions.

This service applies only to genuine BMW ICOM Next interfaces.  If you send an earlier ICOM or a "chinese clone" they will be subject to a £45 non-refundable inspection fee before committing to the repair.  If we can repair it, you'll pay the balance and if we cannot then we will return the unit to you (postage included in the £45).
